In New York how far is Buffalo from Cooperstown? How far is Rochester to Cooperstown?
In New York, which airport would be better to fly into, Rochester or Buffalo? We are planning on flying out on the 13th of August. Our son has to be at Cooperstown to check in on the 15th of Aug. Any suggestions?

- Neither. Bufallo is 287 miles. Rochester is 173 miles. Either Syracuse, 93 miles, Albany, 76 Miles, or Binghamton 88 miles are much closer. Unless you are planning on sightseeing along the way.
- Best suggestion....fly JetBlue to Syracuse. Syracuse is much closer towards Cooperstown than Rochester and Buffalo since Syracuse is in the central part of New York State. Very few flights go from New York to Albany...which mileage wise would work better (80 miles), and unless you are taking a private jet, I don't hear ANYTHING about flights going to Utica (which actually would have worked best since Cooperstown is closer to Utica...51 miles). Syracuse Hancock Airport to Cooperstown is 110 miles.
