What animal should I use for my english monologue?

I have to write a monologue for english, but it has to be from an animal, i need a simple animal, but with imaginative characteristics. Iv not got the best imagination. Thanks alot :) x

2. Try a parrot. My friend wants me to have his parrot because it is driving his dog mad. The parrot keeps repeating "bad dog! no biscuit! in your basket!" It won't shut up so I have refused. The next problem is that his other parrot is also picking up the habit and the dog won't come in the house any more. Now, what do you think two parrots would talk about if the dog went missing? It's true.Any help?

My favorite animals are elephants because they have strong family affiliations and loyalties, they communicate with one another -- even over long distances, they can and often do, form loving relationships even with other species and they display remarkable intelligence. Check wikipedia.com for very interesting articles about elephants including their outstanding intelligence.
4. How about a Chimpanzee or other type of Simian. I know it's not an imaginative answer, but one could argue that they have the most recognisable characteristics, and you could draw on the similarities to humans.
