How can I get to New York City from Williamsport, Pennsylvania without using a car?

I am visiting Williamsport, PA this June. I would also get a chance to see New York while I am there. Is there a way for me to get to New York City without having to drive my rental car, perhaps by train? Any information would be helpful.

4. You'll need to take a bus, rail service in PA stinks.
5. There is no direct train service from Williamsport, PA to NYC. The best way to get from there to NYC will be by bus. Susquehanna Trailways provides bus service to and from NYC, as well as Philadelphia. If you're take the bus to Philly, you can take the train from there to NYC. Amtrak has direct train service on the Northeast Regional, Acela and Keystone Service from 30th Street Philadelphia to Penn Station New York. You can also take SEPTA Regional Rail R7 from 30th Street to Trenton, NJ, where a connection can be made to NJ Transit for the trip to New York City. I hope this information is very helpful. Good luck
