How long will China continue its policy of murdering little girls?

They still won't admit that their one child policy has lead to the murdering of millions of little girls because of male preference in their culture. Its an international disgrace that the world really ought to be saying something about.

  1. it happens in India too - try to lobby for our little girls as well
  2. Glad to see someone Brought that up, Hadn't really thought about it till now. I'll look into that. ^_^
  3. I don't know when, but I agree with you. It's a terrible thing they are doing and it's time other countries had some say in it. Why are sons preferred anyway? I know feminism is greatly established in most countries wordwide but China seems to be quite a bit farther behind in terms of equality.
  4. Forever. Who's gonna stop em, you?
  5. They just want to take over the world and they are jealous. Its sad they are doing it to one kid at a time. : (
  6. That is an excellent point. The United States needs to say or do something....Maybe a trade embargo against them until they change their policy. We sure have done it to other countries.....Wait then again their countries didn't produce tons of cheap goods to sell at Wal-Mart.
  7. When the population is excessive and limitations have been placed on the number of children allowed, people will do what they have to do to get the child they want. What family would want a girl who would be faced with the same problem they have if they could have a boy instead. To murder a child, especially your own child that is so totally dependent upon you is a moral disgrace to the family as well as to the government that forces it to happen.
  8. You're right! It's been going on long enough. Surely people should be allowed to have as large a family as they can afford or want. Is it not an infringement of human rights to say otherwise? Mind you, it's way more of an infringement of human rights to abort your baby cos she's a girl.
  9. The problem is patriarchal attitudes, not government policy. They are obliged to restrict their mind-boggling population growth. The tens of millions of Chinese men without any prospect of finding a wife are are now starting to change attitudes.
  10. It will take a change of culture, not laws or foreign intervention to overcome this. The child limit was necessary to limit the EXPLOSION of population. Even with this one child policy, one out of every 3.9 people on this planet is Chinese! The same people who are against this practice better be in favor of allowing a huge flux of Chinese refugees into this country without complaining when they get here.
  11. i agree, and one needs to wonder why they are sending us all these poisoned toys.
  12. Nothing will change until countries like the United states questions them about that horrible practice.
  13. There is no one to stop them. God will judge them for it some day, but in the mean time no one wants to bet involved.
  14. you ppl make it sound like theres no such thing as abortions in the United States..! the US has enough problems as it is... you deal with yours and let them deal with theirs... ppl over there are more educated then here, you think they don't know whats going on or something?
  15. thats so sad... but sadly no one will probably do anything about it... =/
  16. so, have your say.
