How do i audit a policy document?What areas should I look at and how should it be written?
I have been asked to audit a policy to see if it meets the national requirements. I know I need to basically compare the company policy to the national recommendations to see if everything is covered, but how should it be written? What sections should the audit include?

- Audit on what?? Is it public sector or industry? Perhaps you mean SPI's? Do you have a prior year file and what did the auditor do last year?? I presume you need to agree disclosure requirements but you need to give me more info on what you are auditing. Remember if you are genuinely stuck speak to your senior for guidance, that is what they are there for.
